Note 7 firmware reload...help plz....

Can you help me with a Bell Canada Note 7? I am keeping my recalled phone...like it to much..have no issues.

I want to reflash my firmware.

I have all the correct files including the PIT.

using the Bl AP CP CSC files

When I try to flash, I get the dreaded FAIL! (Auth)

I am starting odin 3.12 with admin...

fails after 2 secs of running....

First of all, welcome to Android Forums!

Second of all, I doubt VERY seriously that you will find the stock firmware for the Bell Canada Note 7... or any other Note 7, for that matter. I am asking you, very politely and respectfully, to heed the recall and turn the phone in. Here's why:

  • Replacement Note 7s have caught fire with NO overheating or any other warning signs. It could happen to anyone, anytime, anywhere.
  • You will never get an update or warranty support for it.
  • You will never be able to take it with you on any commercial airline.
  • You will never be able to resell it.
  • NO consumer electronics device - not even the Note 7 - is worth risking personal injury and property damage for. Next year's flagship will be even better. We can wait for it.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE... just turn it in.

@Obs1234, fwiw, isn't the G925F a Samsung S6 Edge?
I'm looking at the tar file name and it appears to be wrong, hence the failure. (or am I reading that wrong, it's an example?)

Anyway, yeah, the Note 7 and its demise....sad. :( Hate to see you have an issue down the line even if it is fine right now. ;)
