Note 7 OS

Good morning! My Note 4 is hitchy and glitchy, and I suspect the OS may have been corrupted as time has gone on. Of course, I was caught in the Note 7 debacle, and I have an S7. It's a good phone, but not a Note. The question is this-can I somehow put the Note 7 OS on my Note 4? Would the hardware be able to support the software?

No. The OS is very much contingent on the hardware that matcheWhat you need is the Note 4 firmware, or a custom ROM if you can root & ROM it.

That's what I thought, but a girl can dream....
Any good ideas on where to find a clean copy of the firmware, or would doing a factory reset work? I hate both options, but it would have been worth it to have the Note 7 back.

Hi,try the SamMobile website for the latest firmware, then flash it from your PC using Odin. Phil
Try here if you have the SM-910F model, if not put in your model and country, any problems post on here your model and country and I will try to find it for you.
