Note 7 signal reception

Anybody notice the radio reception is weak? I have my MXPE and Note 4 to compare to. Both appear significantly better with LTE signal. MXPE perhaps, but never thought would say that for the Note 4.

Places where both of those devices work fine streaming video do not work with the Note 7. I gave my son the MXPE, so started comparing them when noticed LTE issues at home. Zero reception issues at home with MXPE and Note 4.

Phone calls seems okay, but the data reception is not good. Battery life drains in weaker areas. The bars are not the main thing to go by, since the dB signal is what matters. That said, 3 LTE bars or less is poor signal and much faster drained battery. My Note 4 is better and that is a device not exactly great for signal reception. Missing my MXPE the more I run into issues. The battery blunder being a dark cloud not helping.

All phones drain battery fast in weak LTE areas, but Note 7 weak reception increases the weak signal areas so more chances to drain.

^^That's a real important concern for me when deciding whether or not to purchase a phone.

Samsung really needs to go back to the drawing board and put out a really, really, really stellar Note 8. Remember when a whole slew of us were on the HTC Incredible pre-order forum and they stole the marketshare from everyone? All good things came to an end for them because they couldn't knock the ball out of the park after that so we bailed on them eventually to the Samsung Galaxy III.

We ain't no iSheep and we ain't no stinkin' loyalists so Samsung better bring their A game because the competition is coming into spotlight with some nice phones. Samsung, don't go down like HTC did!

No problems here. Seems to stay on 4g everywhere I go including work which no phone I have ever had before has done.
