Note 8 front camera flash

Hi friends

Has anyone faced green tint been created at the bottom of photo while clicking selfie with flash ON on Samsung note 8??

Hey. I am also facing this issue with my Note 8. Greenish / Yellowish tint is very prominent at the bottom when selfies are taken with front screen flash on. Is there any possible fix? Also is this common across all Note 8 devices or a device specific hardware or firmware issue?

Thanks.

Thanks for quick reply. I must mention that this issue is mostly seen in low lighting conditions. Usually this issue is noticed while wearing dark clothes. For example on a white shirt I can hardly notice it. I am not sure what to do with this issue.

Even under those conditions i still dont see any color shifting or other anomalies. Color reproduction is nicely done on the camera sensor in the phone i use.

Perhaps reset your camera settings and re test. Use different lighting conditions. Even try funky lighting (sodium vapor street lamps, put some colored tissue paper over the sensor, etc...) to see if the color shift you are noticing changes with the temp or kelvin of the light source.

You could also have a faculty sensor, but testing it in different settings will weed out any imperfections usually.

Thanks guys for replies. Let me see if I can try different scenarios. I have done some tests in few conditions. Please see attached sample pics.
Note: I don't see any issue when I select aspect ratio as 1:1

If you can “crop out” the issue, perhaps you have a sensor fault. Or there could be something inside the phone blocking the sensor.

Have you had this since day one of taking photos on this device? How long have you had it? If you are past the wireless carriers grace period, the phone should still be under manufacturer warranty.

This is not a Samsung supported site, so you should also create a thread at Samsung’s official forums as well as sending them a direct email with examples.
