Note 8 incoming calls popup

So I have a video calling app 'ultimate call screen' which allows me to have videos play when calling or receiving calls. My issue is that the phone app has. A popup that shows over the videos...

Things I have tried:
1. Disabling all notifications and sounds from all phone apps and contact apps
2. Disabling all popups from those apps
3. Force stopping all phone and contact apps
4. Turning off all options for 'apps that can appear on top' for those apps to include the importance from 'urgent to low'.
No matter what options I disable or turn off. The popup on the top of my screen does not go away. Any options would be grateful as a video call app with a different caller popup on it is almost pointless. Thank you.

Also, phone is not rooted. And is running Android 8.0 and using next launcher.

tried to find the app and its not in the store. maybe it was pulled?
perhaps the app is not compatible with this current os.

how long have you had the app installed? has it EVER worked properly?

Yes it worked fine before. But older phone. Not sure on this one. Just got it again.

I looked and u are right, It changed its name but shows as it's old name in apps. But i don't believe it has anything to do with the app, the system popup for phone calls should still be able to be disabled. That's what I need to figure out.

I couldn't figure out what was happening and eventually it didn't have anything popping up when I was called so I restored defaults and installed a play store default calling app. Only one I found that would remove the popup was vyng. It did what I needed it to with a little bit of customizing.

Update
It still isn't exactly what I would like to do, so if anyone can figure out what option in the phone can remove the popup so I don't have to use 2 video apps. It would be helpful. Thank you.
