I wonder if Note 8 would be useful for taking down appointments from received phone calls, using the stylus?
My wife runs a hair salon, where she typically receives phone calls, looks up free time in her appointment book and handwrites the time and what the client needs. I wonder if a single-day calendar sheet can be popped up on a Note 8, she could put the client on speaker, and then scribble the appointment on that sheet using the S-pen stylus, while keeping the client on the phone?
We have seen some apps and calendars that could be used for this, but for her these apps would be too restrictive and complex - she only needs that "free format" way to make notes on a calendar page for the day. Then, of course, she should be able to flip back and forth between pages (days), add in new appointments and modify as needed - just like she is doing now on paper. The objectives here are to have backups and access to the appointment book as a file in the cloud, not having to carry around that paper calendar book, and possibly later move on to a more dedicated appointment app, such as Appointfix, Acuity, or others.
Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.
