Note 9 phone app not working after Android 9 update

Hi,

My Note 9 was updated with Android 9 about a week ago. Since the upgrade my phone app is not working properly. When I receive a call I am sometime unable to answer the call. You see and press the green phone icon, but it only works sometimes, other times it freezes. Same goes and is even worse for ending calls. You press the red phone icon, but phone call does not end. I have to actually close the app to end the call. Very frustrating.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any advice on how to correct this will be appreciated.

Have you tried clearing data ?

I agree - go to Settings - Apps - Overflow Menu (three dots upper right) Show System Apps - Phone and CLEAR CACHE, CLEAR DATA. Restart the phone. If any other apps act up, try the same thing with them. Clearing data will wipe any saved credentials, so you may have to log into the app again, depending on what it is.

Okay, thanks I've cleared the cache and hopefully this will work.
