I am posting this in case its of help. I attend meetings where I need to make confidential notes. For the most part they are deleted at the end of the day so I dont need a back up.
I have put "Note Everything" on, this is a simple note taking app that you can customise. It does not back up but if need be you can share notes. I imput using a cheapo stylus (mine came with the case but there are plenty on Amazon for 99p). When taking notes I change the input method from Swiftkey 3 for tablet (which is great by the way) to Swype | Text Input for Screens. Google Swype beta and it will take you to the official safe site to download the app. All in all I am very pleased with the results. Its turned the Nexus into a very good note pad that I can input on very quickly and accuratly.
