Good morning,
I've run into something of an issue with the "Notes" application. I recently recorded audio of a lengthy interview through this feature. When I tried to export the note and accompanying audio file to the cloud, it failed (aside: this is something I've done before without problem). The same thing happened when I tried to save it to the SD card. By "failed" I mean that it did not export the audio file, only a nonsense .png file that was blank. When I tried to email it, it appeared to attach the audio file correctly to the email but for whatever reason the email would not send. I should note that throughout this process, I was able to listen to the audio file through the Notes application but was keen to create a backup elsewhere. It is also worth noting that although I identified the folder location of the audio files associated with Notes, this particular note was not there but again - could still listen to it fine.
This morning when I went to redouble my efforts of extracting this thing from this pesky app, I received the error: "NotesAudioFile_-111.aac, The file is missing" Now this is certainly not a good sign and I am more than a bit concerned. Has anyone else every encountered these types of problems with Notes? And, though this is definitely grasping at straws, can we imagine anywhere this thing might be hiding or why this could have happened in the first place?
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Details of my phone are below.
Cheers,
DC~
