Notification and vibration

Hi, I recently bought this phone and there are a few things about it that I would like help with.
First of all, I need a proper planner that will notify me strongly. The S planner just makes a one second sound. It doesn't even vibrate.
I was wondering whether there was a setting that would make it vibrate strongly non stop until I press a button or whether any of you guys know a better app.

Secondly, whenever I turn my device to vibrate, it seems to turn to mute after a while. It could've been me who accidently pressed a button or something but is there a way to permanently disable mute?

Thank you :)

I'm not sure about the second question, but as for the first...

There are some settings in the Settings "app" on the phone. Try using "Menu" on the homescreen, then go to "Settings". Go to "Sound" and from here, there are some settings in "Vibration intensity" and other options that should allow you to change vibration settings.

Also, many apps have their own settings as far as notifications go. Try using "Menu" while in the app and using the settings there to change notification settings such as vibration and sound settings. Most apps don't allow change over vibration but they should allow over sounds.

Thank you for your advice but I think the S planner just doesn't suit me.
Do you know any good planner apps with strong and lasting notifications?

Luckily you have the Android store at your disposal! :D Well...not really. I don't use a planner, perhaps try using our specialized app forum to find the best planner app possible. Here's a link to it. I recommend that section because users go there that are very familiar with apps. Sorry I can't be of more help. :( Hopefully someone has the right app for you.

Answer to second question, you should try downloading Ringer Toggle Widget by Rounded Labs from the playstore (it's free). All you do is tap it to toggle between sound, vibrate, & no sound. Very simple & easy you don't have to use the volume rocker all the time. Also when you switch to vibrate it gives you a haptic feedback which is cool !!! :alberteinstein:
