Help Notification annoyance

When I miss a call I would usually on my old phones slide open the notification bar and remove the specific notification from the list so it never appears again but on the Note 4 when I remove a notification about a call missed from the slide down it only temporarily disappears from the lockscreen and slide down only to reappear after a short while. The only way I can remove it is if I go into call logs and remove every entry in the missed call logs. This is starting to really annoy me and I hope someone knows how to fix this

That is annoying, did that in my S4 too. Don't know if there is a fix.

My S4 would do this if I opened the lock screen without clicking on the missed call first, or if I didn't go into the dialer and view the missed call.

I have not had this issue with the N4. I can swipe the missed call away from my notification bar and it clears it.
