Help Notification bar missing -Lg v30

This is odd to me. The notification bar was always visible thurs and friday, but today its only visible when i use my finger to move down from the top of the screen. I have looked in the settings, but i must be missing something.

I don't know the V30's software, but does your launcher have an option to hide the notification bar which you might have activated by accident?

(I use a third party launcher with this option, and keep the notification bar hidden most of the time).

Otherwise, is this the case all the time, or does it just disappear when running certain apps? If the app is allowed to use an immersive mode then the bar could disappear when some apps are running.

I use Nova launcher. I did not have this problem with my Samsung s6, so if this is a "feature" it may take some digging. Thx for the tip. X'g fingers
