Help Notification Bar

My notification bar will not stay on the screen, the one which shows the time, battery, and wifi and signal strength. It stays on when I am using apps but not when just on the home screens the only way of showing it is to drag it down it has only recently started doing this, using nova prime. Any ideas

Nova has a setting that hides the notification bar. Look through settings and make sure it's not checked.
