Notification issue

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had the same problem I am having. I am having occasional issues getting notifications on my phone when it is locked and also with my fitbit not syncing(I was putting this down to my fitbit but unsure now). Once I open the phone the notifications will come through
Is there a setting that may of been changed that could affect all of this or are there problems with the phone?

Have you got your phone set to turn off data connections when locked or a security setting that stops notifications showing on the lock screen perhaps?

Well, try this..

Switch off your phone and see if this clears the issue. If not I would go into your notification and security settings and double check you don't have data saver on or lock screen notifications switched off.

Just checked and the data saver is off and switching my phone off won't work as had this issue for a while... Thks

Go into >Settings< then (G) Google and look for >Connected Apps< and see if there's anything connected to your device that may be sending you notifications. Once you locate the possible culprit disconnect it from your device in that location. Also note that if you've given permissions from websites it will also show up in that location even uninstalled apps notification you once installed.

I have the same issue at times but have not really paid much attention to it @jak68

I believe the setting you need to turn off is in battery optimisation, with this setting even in the off position it is still monitoring and killing processes in the background. Go into advance and switch it off and see if it works. I've done the same to see if it works my end.
