notification light?

Anyone know a way to make led notification light brighter or swap colors ie red for text messages and blue for charging? I know there are apps like light flow out there but from reading reviews for light flow it is buggy for kitkat. I'll be happy with a brighter led light cause I barely notice the light when it is blinking

I'm not having any issues with LightFlow on my S5. As far as I know, there is no way to change colors or increase brightness of the LED natively. I use LightFlow for everything and find that Magenta and Cyan are pretty bright compared to the blue and red. Definitely miss the larger/brighter LED of my S3 though.

You should try the free version of LightFlow as it's pretty feature packed. If it works well you can backup your settings, uninstall the free version, purchase the full version and restore your settings.

You could also check out another app called DynamicNotifications

It will light up the screen for all notifications for a set amount of time. The paid version allows you to setup breathing notifications. This way you can set it up to light up the screen every "x" minutes. I personally have mine setup to light up the screen for 30 seconds every 5 minutes until I dismiss or check the notification.

The battery usage is very minimal since the S5 has a SAMOLED screen.

My blue 'notification' light always blinks when the phone is locked.
I don't have any missed calls or missed messages, so I don't know
what to fix to stop this.
It is a PITA because I look at the phone, the light is blinking, so
I log into it and I have nothing missed.

What else can I look at?
