Notification not working right after 4.3 Update

Hello everyone, I just received the notification to update my Samsung Galaxy SIII to Jellybean 4.3 which I did. I thought everything was working good after the update but a strange has happened. Whenever I get a new Yahoo Messenger message the notification light no longer blinks letting me know I have a new message. It always worked prior to the update. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I still receive notifications like normal for SMS text messages. Thanks in advance for everyones help!!!

May have something to do with yahoo updating the apps. Had issues with the yahoo mail and it was after the update from yahoo

This didn't start doing this until after the 4.3 update and I don't recall any Messenger update on my phone.
