I am wanting to start some Android development of my own, I have the environment set up but I'm not sure where to start with this app. I have found nothing relating to MMS in the android code reference.
Basically, I would like a notification in the notification bar when a MMS is ready for retrieval. As it is now, a notification for MMS is only displayed after the message has been downloaded. As I have auto-retrieval off for various reasons, I never receive a notification in the notification bar when someone sends me a MMS. The notification doesn't have to do anything, I just want to know when a MMS is available to retrieve.
I would also very, very much appreciate if the author of such an app shared the code with me.
