Help Notification ringtone

I am having problems installing a notification ringtone. I installed basix and when I go to my settings to phone call ringtones I can change them to anything I have saved in my rigtone folder on the sdcard. When I go to the notification ringtones it does not give me any options other than silent. I have ringtones saved on my sdcard under ringtones and I have downloaded more from zedge but still my only option is silent. All my text messages are vibrating only? How can I fix this?

Go to the market and download "rings extended" and that will allow you to do whatever you want when it comes to notifications/ringtones. It wont be in your app drawer. the rings extended option will come up once you go into your setting to change whatever you want to change.... your welcome.
