Notification sounds for each app

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has figured out how (or know if you can't) set specific notification sounds for each app(i.e. gmail, insta, snap, sms)

I could do this on my s6, but can't seem to find it here.

Of course you can. Settings/notifications/apps. Anything Sam can do LG can do.

Thank you for replying, but this menu only gives settings for priority and such, please see screen shot for Instagram app notification settings

You can if the app supports it. If you open the app that you want to set a specific sound for, and go to its settings, there should be options for notifications. I've done this with Gmail, Hangouts, and others- just need to set within the app itself.

It isn't obvious. There is a small "i" in the top right corner of the settings - notifications - apps - app window. This will take you to more options
