Notification Sounds

hi all,

No matter what I do, I can't get my A5 to make a sound when I receive an email (Gmail) or SMS message, just a vibration. Please advise where/which settings.

Go to settings>sound>sound profile and make sure it's NOT set to vibrate only, then go to settings>sound>volume and make sure your notification sound is set to anything higher than zero. Finally, go to settings>sound>ringtone and make sure a default is selected (and it's not 'silent')

Thanks both. Problem solved - I'd been used to adjusting volume by the buttons on the phone, so hadn't ven looked at the Volume tab.

As for LCARS, I had to look it up. I'll check it out.
