Notification?

I have a notification of an event on Facebook next to one of my contacts, i've accepted it and been onto the page many times but it's still there, how do i get rid of it?

just log on using a computer. or update your facebook app to the newest one available. Or maybe you didn't hit refresh. tap the menu button. its there.
