Notifications disappearing

My wife and I both have Note 8 on AT&T with Android 7.1.1 Over the last few days notifications that come in on the lock screen have been randomly disappearing after being on the screen for a few minutes. Anyone else having this issue or know a possible cause/solution?

Do you have any aggressive battery saver app running?

What notifications are they? Are they random notifications ? Or specific ones?

So this JUST started happening all of a sundden on BOTH devices? So do the same notifications disappear on both devices or are they random between both?

Although difficult to diagnose over the internet, it sounds like something local to your device and how you have things setup.

If the phone works in every other way (makes calls, sends/receives texts/mms, uses data properly), its most likely something local to your device, so re check your settings and app permissions.

No battery saver apps. The notifications range from news to social media to banking. Seems like standard notifications like email, text, and missed calls stay. They both happen randomly. I will lose a news notification but it stays on my wife's device or she will lose a banking notification that I do not.

Maybe you don’t have any battery saver apps but what is your power scheme profile sent to? I have ther note 8 on high performance for example.

Seems it’s random. Did both phones start this issue at the same time?

Have you restarted the phone ? Cleared the phones cache? Those are obvious things but wanted to ask...

Mine started Monday, my wife's started Tuesday. Power is set to optimized. Not sure why but I didn't even think about clearing cache. Just did that. I will update if the problem keeps up.
