Notifications not working after update

When my S9 is connected to my car through bluetooth, I no longer get text messages or email notifications sounds so I know I have a new one. Before the update I would still get a sound notification from the phone only. Now the only way I know when a new message arrives is to see the blinking light in the corner. I tried changing my car settings but that didnt help nor did deleting and repairing my link. Please help.

I am having the same issue with my Level U Pro. Calls ring with the phone and headset. Notifications only come across the headset.

I can find no way to get the sound for notifications back onto both. Only thing I can do is turn off the headset.
