Help notifications randomly turning back on

So I'm 2 weeks into my relationship with the S3 and I've noticed that notifications that I have previously turned on seem to magically turn themselves back on. Specifically calendar and Facebook.

Facebook I initially turned off all notifications except "new messages" then about a week later ALL were turned on.

Same thing happened with my calendar. When all the items in my caledar were set up there notification was turned off, then magically again they are turned on and I get a notification for every single entry <---- SUPER ANNOYING

What is going on?? is my phone possessed??? Am I alone in this?

This may be because the apps you mentioned have had updates to them and the notifications have reset themselves. My Facebook app did the same thing and its a horrible app in the first place. You might need to go back and set them again. If that doesn't work your phone might just be possessed.

I've noticed s planner notifications switch back on every time I reboot the phone. Really annoying Only noticed this since updating to jelly bean

The update suggestion makes sense. I downloaded a new update on the facebook app earlier this week.

Now the calendar I have no idea! LOL

Hi. I'm pretty sure that any apps I have moved to my SD card don't retain the notifications setting.
Using Galaxy S3.
