Notifications

OK long story short.
My notifications for my Verizon text messages I have set up, also does all the notifications on my phone.
If I get a text it plays the notification, if I get reminder it plays same sound. I want one notification for my text and one for other notifications.

Any help on this matter.

When it play the sound I set up for text thinking I get a text only to realize that it a calendar, or invite etc.

Go into settings in the app that you want to change, look for notifications. There should be an option to change it, that should bring up a list of choices, pick one and you are good to go.

I use Megasound Beta to set specific notification sounds for different apps.

go to Settings> Sounds and vibration> Notification sound (see screenshot)
- Allows you to assign different sounds for Default, Messages, Calendar, and different Email accounts
