On my 7.1 nook and phone all my notifications are displayed at the top. Now on 8.0 only the first 3 are. I like the old way better. Is there a way to do that on my Tab?

If you got to settings>display>status bar, you should see an option to 'show recent notifications only'. If you turn that off, then all the notification icons will display.
Thank you. That is so much better.
I suppose that was there because every app and its sister now throws notifications at you and you can easily get more notifications than can be displayed in a phone in portrait mode. If you have room for ten icons and you have 12 notifications the 2 latest wouldn't display. With only showing the three most recent, then you always have the newest icon up there, in case you were expecting an important text from Publisher's Clearing House.
