Help Notifications

I want to add my own Notification sound but I cannot figure out how to get it into the "default notifications" list. Thanks for the help.

Thanks but that link doesn't seem to help. I've gone into the Message App but it still only has the various default tones.

Create a folder called "notifications" on your sdcard. So then you put all your personal notifications into /sdcard/notifications and they will show up in teh list.

You can also create a ringtones folder and an alarms folder.

Install a file manager app such as ES File Explorer. Then when you tap on the Change Ringtone option, you will get two options to complete the action - using:

Android System (which will give you the various default tones)

ES File Explorer (which will allow you to browse to the audio file of your choosing).
