Nougat : block 1 app updating

I have several Android devices different versions

So i know the general No Autoupdate setting.
On several devices I can also block 1 specific app from updating (resulting in a warning when update all is executed)

But on my tablet with Nougat 7.1.1 I can't find where this feature has been hidden / moved this time.

It' frustrating that in every version things are moved or hidden or unavailable

Where is it in 7.1.1 ?

What versions were you on where you did have this feature? Where was it on those devices? I recall a time when the Play Store had an option to turn auto update on/off for individual apps, but nothing else, and that's not been there for a long time.

Well changes to the user interface don't actually occur with every app version update but yeah it can be annoying when it does at times. But not all interface changes are problematic and it's undeniable that a lot of version updates are actually bug fixes and/or security patches. You need to weigh how much you resist change versus intentionally making your phone's online access less safe.
