Help Nova launcher lag

Im getting some lag when backing out of apps such as the gallery, settings, games, even play store.

Wondering if apex is better, what do people think?

to be honest i have used nova launcher. i didnt really get lagg. but i use go launcher now.

i was using nova launcher and i was getting lag myself. gs3 in red at&t. so i went back to go launcher. much better. but nova launcher has potential if they would update it.

I've used Nova Launcher Prime since my Galaxy Note; not a single ounce of lag here for me.

I have it on my S3 @ VZW

I have nova prime also on my Siii and zoom tab and no problems at all.

nova prime, no problems. prefer it to apex pro

What sort of lags precisely? In use Nova and it's much better than many others. I am running the latest beta running on JB code.

Like when i was finished sending a message, and pressed the home key, the screen would go black for about 8 seconds then sloady load the homescreen. That was the main issue i was having. There were other little stops whilst scrolling etc.

All is good now though as i have my setup pretty much exactly how it was but with apex instead
