Nova Launcher on S7?

I use this on my S6 (rooted) and it works brilliantly.

Does it work on the S7?

My plan is to

1) backup the S6 *apps* using Titanium
2) buy and install Titanium on the (rooted) S7
3) restore the *apps* onto the S7
4) buy and install Nova on the S7
5) restore an ex-S6 Nova backup onto the S7

Nova has a proper backup/restore function.

Is this likely to work?
