Nova Launcher Pro - Galaxy Alpha

Hi all.

I am new to android (from iPhone) and have just got a Galaxy Alpha and have installed Nova Launcher (the paid version).

I have messed around with it and got it almost exactly how I want it but I am stuck on two issues...

1. When you go to scroll the home back to the side (where there are no more pages) it pulls the whole page at an angle like a book page is opening. How do I stop this? It does an annoying shadow thing at the same time and I just want it to be flat without any animation.

2. How do I edit the clock widget etc on the lock page?

Thanks so much all.

1. Go to: Nova settings > Desktop > Scroll effect > select None. -

I have done this and between pages its fine but its when you get to the end page where you cant scroll anymore to the right or left that's when it does it, not between pages. Does this make sense?

I can't see a way of getting rid of that, sorry.

If you head to Settings > Desktop > Infinite Scroll. That will treat your homescreens like they're a big circle so when you get the last screen on the left, if you swipe again, it switches to the last screen on the right.

It's not exactly what you want, but it's the only way I can see of getting rid of it.

The animation helps you figure out when you've reached the end. Stop trying to advance past that and the animation will stop. Personally I can't understand how it's a problem. (You are of course entitled to your own preferences)
