I didn't see a thread on this general (specific?) topic, so I thought I'd start one. It includes parody music, of course, such as what launched and sustained the career of "Weird Al" Yankovic, who is a master of parody and a really excellent musician and lyricist. (Consider, for example, that his "Jurassic Park" lyrics make far better sense than some of the original "MacArthur Park" lyrics.)
Anyway, if you have some favorites, please post and share.

Here's a few to get us started., the first two from Mr. Yankovic himself. The first is what really launched his career; the "original" of this was just him and his accordion on a tape sent to Dr. Demento.
The second is an original true novelty song, though, not a parody. As you listen, think about the mixed melodies and layers (tracks) he had to lay down for this. Musically this is an excellent song as well.

And here's one from Tim Cavanaugh, a parody of "99 Red Balloons."
