Novice user with quick question re: SMS avatars. [PIC]

Hey all, new HTC Legend owner here and am absolutely loving the phone, but jsut had a quick question. I went into gmail and assigned some contacts (since I sync from gmail for contacts list) some pictures so our SMS chats would look pretty. And they do look pretty, but I can't figure out how to assign an avatar to MYSELF.

What I mean is, take a look at this chat message I'm having with a friend

She has a pretty rose for her picture but why do I look like a seuxal predator?? How do I change that!!

The only thing I can think of is to change your profile picture on your google account. ON the computer. Where it says you can set up a profile and all that.

I certainly don't know otherwise though....

BTW - Yeah that default picture does make anyone look like a predator. Never saw it that way until now. LOL.

Calm down. We don't always respond very quickly. We don't get paid to help people.

Change the profile picture on your Google account. Although sometimes in the HTC Sense SMS app, your picture will just randomly disappear, and then reappear some days later. Probably a bug.

I do know if you have your phone synced with your Facebook account, your Facebook picture will be your phone picture.
