just wondering if the htc desire is going to come to Sprint now that US Cellular has a CDMA version of it. i want something with a 3.7 inch screen. 4.0 and 4.3 inch screens are just a little too big for my liking...and plus the EVO and the Samsung Epic still don't have 4g service available in San Francisco. dont really feel like paying an extra 10 dollars a month for service i can't even use. so i am hoping the htc desire will come to sprint! was happy when Sprint announced that they were going to get the Nexus One but those fools decided they didn't want it anymore...

I think I would piss my pants out of joy if this ever happened.

Would it be at all possible to have the U.S. Cellular HTC Desire unlocked to be usable for Sprint? According to Wikipedia, Sprint and U.S. Cellular both have 1xRTT data and voice roaming agreement, so U.S. Cellular devices roam on Sprint. The only thing is that I know Sprint Employees will not register phones that are not Sprint devices. If there was just a way to get around this...

Oh God i hope there is a way to make this happen. I will be one happy camper!

i want to know this as well. PLEASE SOMEONE FIGURE IT OUT. is this what MSL codes are used for? beats me

Probably not. Sprint won't activate a non-Sprint phone. I guess you could buy an unlocked one off ebay but be prepared to re-sell it and maybe loose a couple bucks if it doesn't work.
