This is my first post, very confused and not sure how to fix this issue or where to start so thought I would try you guys.
I recently purchased the Nubia Z7 mini (running Android 4.4.2) as a gift, I paid extra for it to be rooted and Google Play Store to be installed before purchase.
I bought this from merimobiles.com, I have bought rooted phones from them before and this has never been an issue.
The phone can send and receive data no problem, yet when I try to add an account on the Google Play Store it comes back with the following error message almost instantly "Couldn't sign in, there was a problem communicating with the Google servers".
I have tried numerous accounts, definitely the right passwords and stuff - I also followed the pinned guide on the Google Product Forums for the issue and nothing so far has worked.
Everything else works on the phone perfectly, anyone have any idea how I can fix this?
