Help "null" message when entering search bars since Android 11

Since updating my Pixel 3a to Android 11 I am getting a "null" popup message when I enter many search bars, eg, settings, photos, firefox. I've tried switching keyboards and launchers since I use non-standard ones of both, but neither fixed the issue. I can't think where else to start investigating this.

It will be apps that haven't been updated yet.

Android 11 depreciates "custom" toast messages, so when an app tries to send one this is what happens. That's my best guess at what you are seeing (I've seen a fair few myself, having been using 11 for a number of weeks now).
