NY Times app is out

NYtimes official app is out and available on the Market.. I have been waiting for this for a while - one of the few apps I have been missing from my iPhone days. So very glad to see it out.

I believe it requires 2.x

Try app called Newspapers. (Free Version from Dale Jefferson).
It has NYT and many many more i.e.

now why would something like a news app require 2.x? I can't thiink of any features that would require it. Does their website only work with windows 7 and higher? no.
