NYT app?

Does anyone know what happened to the New York Times app? It hasn't updated a story since December 1st. The app no longer appears in the market place and before I uninstalled the app, it no longer showed up under "downloads" within the market place app.

I'm pretty sure that was a third party app. Maybe the developer just stopped supporting it all together? Seems unusual.

I emailed nytimes.com, and they said the app does not exist yet. It must have been an illegal 3rd party app, which, btw, looked almost identical to the ipod touch app I have running.
