Obligatory Intro

Hello! Jen here. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 that I love! I switched from my iPhone (3G!) and instantly knew I made a great choice. Unfortunately, on Christmas Eve of this year, that phone died. It just kept restarting and restarting but never making it past the load screen Oh the photos!!!!

But my father-in-law happened to have just upgraded and had an old S3 so sim card switch and done! I'll run this one into the ground as well and then will just have to upgrade

I came here because for the past week my google search bar app (not google search, but just the bar search-I can still search via internet) stopped working. Text, voice, it just gives me a fail screen.

So here I am. I've lurked before finding answers to questions. Happy to officially be a member!

I am having the exact same problem with my search bar on my S3, it started last week like yours. Google Chrome search works fine. Mine says "no internet connection" as well, but only when I use the search bar. I'm glad I found this forum (new member) I have tried everything and reported it to Google 3 times. Nothing yet.
