Observation about "Android System"'s battery usage

I've seen a lot of threads/questions about Android System eating up a lot of battery. I've noticed (after running a couple of experiments) that Android System only does this to me when I don't charge my phone all the way. If I stop charging before 100% (even at 80-90%), Android System starts burning battery. If I charge the phone until the LED is green and it's at 100%, Android System barely uses any battery and I get amazing battery life.

I may be wrong, though. Just a thought.

Interesting... I was getting bad battery life when I visited my hometown for a week or so, but I was also just randomly charging it in a car or using someone's computer, so it likely wasn't fully charged. Yet, when I came back home, I was regularly charging it to 100% and getting really good battery life. It's definitely a possibility.

Maybe the charging percentage is inaccurate? For instance, if it says 80% charge, maybe it is actually much lower than that. Just a thought.
