OCR MICR Scanner for Checks

I'm looking for an app that will allow me to use the Camera on my phone to take an Image of a check and do OCR on the MICR line of the check and make it available in a textbox for copy and paste or push it to the clipboard.

I would even settle for a decent SDK that would allow me to develop this app. But my preference would be to just buy it.

Does anyone know of an app like this?

I don't think this is possible as MICR readings are partially based on the magnetic ink I think. I could be wrong though. If you're interested in developing the app, the Android SDK is completely free. You're only charged if you want to post your app to the market.
