Samsung's Gear VR is turning out to be quite popular. We don't know how many Gear VR units have been sold, but Oculus has reported at more than 1 million people used the Gear VR during the month of April. Since virtual reality is a growing segment, we should see a lot more reports like this in the future. While we're happy for Samsung and Oculus, it would be more interesting to know how many people used the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive last month as PC-connected VR experiences are a lot more enjoyable than anything you can get with the Gear VR.
