So here is what has be befuddled. In a nutshell, as they say.
I have four email accounts I use daily: two through gmail, one through mail dot com and one with GMX. I use Thunderbird to access all four accounts.
I use the same email addy for all forums and discussion groups and my mail rules say to allow AF and other forum crap through.
Why is it, some of my AF mail arrives in all accounts? Is that odd or what am I missing? AF replies arrive in my gmx account as well is in both gmail accounts and sometimes, the same messages arrive in the regular gmail account as well as in spam folders of my mail.com account.
Sometimes, I do not get mail in the account I registered with AF and suddenly, after refreshing, nothing happens except mail arrives in other email accounts. Then, a few days later, it arrives in my AF registered account.
Right now, I have the same replies in all four accounts. I am not smart, but it seems odd that this is happening.
OK, so I checked a work related account (my 5th email account) and some AF replies are in my inbox as well as in my spam folder. This account is carefully setup so only work related stuff gets through. When I deleted the messages in this account's in-box, some but not all of the deleted messages disappeared from ALL other accounts.
It is as though I hired a blind assistant who is tossing every message I get into any and all file drawers.
So what silly little error did I make? I be confused. I am thinking that deleting TB is a good first place to start. Any ideas?
