Odd Google Calendar sync issues - duplicates, etc?

Lock-N-Load

Android Expert
New user and I am having bizarre issues

Google Calendar on the web shows everything correct

BUT, my Droid, even after syncing, shows duplicates of some Events - seems random - and these are not on the web Calendar as duplicates, also shows Events but does not show what they say unless you click on them - no text.

What do I do? Do I remove the duplicate in Droid or just let it sync itself correct in time? is there a way to have it better sync?

do you have facebook on your phone? i have yet to experience this on my droid, but i know in the past on my blackberry i was having calendar issues as i use my google calendar for everything. turned out it was because i had both facebook and google syncing to the default calendar on my blackberry which was in turn posting duplicates back on my google calendar. make sense?

could open the door though...how many programs are syncing is my ultimate question. hope that helps!

I've noticed that every time I go into the Google Calendar online and change which calendar an event is on, it switches it and removes the old entry in the Google Calendar, but it creates an additional event on the new calendar in the Droid. In the end, I have one event in Google Calendar (on the new calendar) and I have two events on the Droid calendar (one entry for each calendar).

It's like Google Calendar isn't sending the signal to the Droid to delete the former entry.

Google! Please fix?!

Thanks,
Matt
