Ode to Android

Yes, it's time. I've finally given up on Android. And the phone that did it to me? The Droid X2. Glitches here, glitches there. I'm tired of having a powerful phone with subpar software. It's fast, it's durable, and it does what it wants. I even have to wait to pick up a phone call. The camera works sometimes, when it feels like it, as do some apps. Things turn on and off. It freezes. It force quits so often. Ringtones stop for no reason. Vibrates are sporadic. And the worst part..? I have yet to come across an Android phone without any of these problems. The unfortunate cure? I'm going back to iPhone. I guess all I wanted in the first place was a phone that had a good camera and I could listen to music on. I just thought Android was cooler...

Maybe I'll be back in a few years... who knows.

Sometimes, it just doesn't work out. It may well have been a defective unit, it happens. Did you try to get a replacement?

Was it your first Android or have you had a few handsets before that one?
