Odin Stock firmware restore - no network

Hi everyone,

My phone (Galaxy SMG550T1) would not start due to a "Kernel rev check fail" issue which resulted in me trying to restore it with Odin and firmware from Sammobile.com. However my phone does not find any network at the moment. It is not even possible to find Mobile Networks in Settings. The firmware I put on was for MetroPCS operator which is in the US. I am based in Europe and maybe that is why I am having issues, or?

I really don't know how to restore the phone. Anyone more experienced out there?

The phone was working before at my current location yes.

The firmware which i flashed with Odin was a MetroPCS one, that is why it is locked at the moment I guess. Or does firmware have nothing to do with the carrier lock?

To my knowledge, after a phone has been carrier unlocked, it stays carrier unlocked.
What carrier and country are you trying to use?

With the kernel rev check fail, do you know if the phone was previously modified?
I don't have any hands on experience with the 550T1 but flashing the stock firmware would have removed any modifications.
