Help Off/ON History?

Anyone know how to look up the android phone usage history, like you can do on a Windows computer?

I am trying to see the history of when the phone was turned off/on. I don't mind plugging the phone into a linux console if I need to.

Try pulling down on the notifications bar the tapping on the Settings icon, then Power, Then Battery usage or something similar.

This sounds like you're asking is to use something like the 'last' command in a terminal. Works on any Linux PC but trying 'last' on a couple of different phones (one rooted with BusyBox Pro, the other not) and it won't work. Anyone?
As it points to /var/log/wtmp I don't even see a wtmp file.
