Couple of questions so please bear with me. I was an avid winmo user with plenty of experience on xda, having flashed ROMS and helped others learn how to flash ROMS.
Now, I've delved into the Android realm and am completely lost. I know this has likely been addressed elsewhere but hoping you could direct me in the right direction:
1) For office documents with full editing capablity, which one? docstogo vs quickoffice? Hear mixed reviews about both. Any input? I don't mind buying an app, just want one that is fully functional and easy to use.
2) How do I sync my documents with my windows 7 computer? for example. If I have documents on my computer (.docx, .pptx. .pdf) that I want on my phone, how do I have a sync. For example, in winmo if you edit your doc on your phone, it will save the edits to the pc when synced via activesync. Is there a way I can do that on android?
3) Also, along the same lines, how do I sync any documents? Such as photos taken on my phone, how do I automatically have these things synced to my computer when I plug it in?
4) I bought the samsung captivate which has android 2.1. In winmo, we had other ROMs floating around that we would flash to get rid of all the bloatware that came with the phone. ARe there other android ROMs out there? and in flashing ROMs, is there a way to save my settings prior to and reinstating these settings?
