Office Depot shipping is amusing!

I bought a cheap HP laptop from Office Depot on Monday. I received a confirmation including a estimated delivery of Friday. Not too bad where shipping is concerned, not Amazon fast but not bad. I check the tracking on Thursday and it says the package is still "in warehouse". That doesn't look good. Late that night I get a shipment confirmation including a UPS tracking number (good) with an estimated delivery date in 22 days (what????). The UPS tracking number doesn't work. This morning I find another shipping notice that says the shipper is Dynamex with no estimated delivery date. Fortunately, this is a laptop destined to be destroyed by my 7 & 9 yr old boys so I'm not waiting anxiously for it to appear. Maybe a pool as to when this thing is delivered?

Office Depot? Is your method to confuse customers while delaying delivery in order to relieve congestion in the supply chain by removing repeat customers?

I have 9 shipping confirmations with different info and a UPS tracking number that still doesn't work, the laptop was delivered today. In fact, I'm using it right now. Their communication leaves much to be desired, but 5 business days is (barely) acceptable.

Let's hope you get 8 more laptops to then.:D Glad you have your device in 5 days instead of 22.
