Root Office Mobile not compatible?

Hey dudes I'm trying to install Microsoft Office Mobile on my nexus 5 but it says it's not compatible with my device but it will install on my wife's nexus 5. I'm rooted and running Dirty Unicorns, her phone is not rooted, that's the only difference. Is it the root or the rom?

Could be the DPI if you're not using multi-DPI gapps. DU has changed DPI (you can change it in settings), but it will install on my device with DU

Thanks :) I should have mentioned that I have tried playing with the dpi but to no avail.

The multi-DPI play store has been around awhile so you probably have it anyway. Before I installed it, I had a similar issue and I found that I had to clear the cache of play store and play services then reboot after changing the DPI. Someone else had success after clearing the cache of similar apps. Not sure how helpful that would be in your case.

Well this is interesting...since the time of my last reply I dirty flashed the last DU update and Office Mobile is no longer showing up as compatible. I'll see if I can change that

edit: yeah, it is available for me after setting the DPI to 480 and clearing data/cache of play store and play services. For some reason, the multi-dpi gapps package I used before isn't allowing it to show at 420. Someone else will need to explain why

Ok, I set the DPI to 480, deleted the cache and rebooted the phone and was able to install office. I lost all my pages, folders etc on my home screens but I can get those back.
